20 LPI CHECKERING SET. This set includes all the essential pro-quality tools needed for gun-stock checkering. The set includes 1 checkering tool holder that will accept each of the four essential cutters included in the set. The four cutters included are 1 each of: 60°,75°and 90° single line cutters plus 1 Spacing cutter. Each professional quality cutter is made in USA from hardened A-2 tool steel and features EDM super sharp wire-cut teeth. The Electrical discharge machining (EDM) process creates a superior cutter unequaled by conventional grinding. Unlike ordinary checkering tools the specially designed teeth feature huge chip clearance to cut cleanly with minimal effort. The result is smoother professsional quality cuts and a practically unlimited service life! The single line tools are used progressively, as follows: 1. Cut initial furrow with a 60° cutter. 2. broaden the initial furrow with a 75° cutter. 3. Complete the furrow with a 90° cutter to make the standard cut. 4.
